Shay is now over half way done and is currently in Oregon. The snow is gone and the heat has started. Yep the kilt is holding up and the miles are racking up. Here are the latest photos.

In Old Station and have crossed the half way point. Only 1300 miles left. Hiking has been very difficult the last few days with the soaking in hot springs and milk shakes around every corner.
The Spring running off has made all of the stream crossing very difficult. Many times they have had to track upstream miles (3+) to find a place to cross where the flow is low enough to be safe.
I'm a professional outdoorsman. When I'm not hiking around the world, I work as a professional ski patroller at Park City Mountain Resort, and as a Lead Instructor with North Carolina Outward Bound School.
